I noticed this banner go up under the Yreka Take n Bake sign quite some time ago that says ‘toasted sandwiches’ $4.99 (hmmm, that’s affordable!). Today was finally the day…..I got to try one! Great little sandwich menu with local coinages for the names - Blue Goose, Siskiyou Miner, Marble Mountain, there’s even one called Moodonna (see Starritt post above). Since I’m still freshly guilt laiden from the Grilla Bites outing, I ordered the Roasted Garlic Veggie - husband ordered the chicken. The sandwich rolls are baked fresh by Kathy’s Deli in Montague! Nice cooperation effort!

Danika, Randal and Lesley Jones’ daughter (they’re the owners) reminded me that next time we can call the order in and drive thru to pick up - that’s cool service!
