I really wish Siskiyou County could host a cool event like this! It’s called the Maker Faire and it is for our new age of crafters and artists. No, not ‘new age crafters’ - a new age OF crafters. Bazaar Bizarre will be there - their tagline is: “not your granny’s craft fair.” This is the perfect event for crafters, artists and especially techno geeks. I’ve been a huge fan of Etsy for a long time and subscribe to MAKE magazine. If you are not familiar with either and you like new, creative ideas, I encourage you to check them out. And if you’re going to be in the bay area this weekend you should make the San Mateo Makers’ Fair a scheduled stop.

great find, happy applehead!! i LOVE that kind of stuff. Will we be able to serve alcohol? just kidding. sheesh, i’m forwarding this to everyone i know. Where do you come up with all of this totally cool stuff.?? keep it up, happy. we could and probably should have one here. at greenhorn park. lots of hills, grass, and water. just to get it started, i’m gonna come up with something cool, and show it off. right on broadway street in yreka. ok? maybe during an existing event like gold rush days.
